Baseball Recap: Loretto Comes Up Short

Loretto was the 5-0 winner over Cascade when they last played one another back in March, but their luck changed this time around. The Mustangs fell just short of the Champions by a score of 4-3 on Friday. The Mustangs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Loretto's loss dropped their record down to 14-10-1. As for Cascade, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-8 record this season.

Loretto does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Cascade, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 9-1 win against Summertown on the 2nd.
