Baseball Recap: ABF Academy Homestead's Luck Changes for the Better on Friday

ABF Academy Homestead came into Friday's match having lost four straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They put the hurt on the Keys Gate Knights with a sharp 9-2 win on Friday. This was payback for the Bandits, who suffered a 4-1 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Kyle De Haseth spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered two runs (both of which were unearned) on three hits.

On the hitting side, ABF Academy Homestead got a massive performance out of Farens Wooter, who scored a run and stole five bases while going 2-for-4. Those five stolen bases gave Wooter a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Johaimry Gregorius, who scored two runs while going 2-for-4.

ABF Academy Homestead's victory bumped their record up to 5-14. As for Keys Gate, they have been struggling recently as they've lost ten of their last 13 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-13 record this season.
