Basketball Recap: Babylon Comes Up Short

Babylon lost against Southampton back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Babylon Panthers took a blow against the Southampton Mariners, falling 84-52. The Panthers were down 76-38 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.

Southampton's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Naevon Williams led the charge by putting up 21 points and seven rebounds. Alex Franklin was another key player, scoring 17 points and six boards.

Babylon's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Southampton, the victory was the 11th in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 18-1.

As of now, neither Babylon nor Southampton have any future games scheduled.
