Football Recap: Jurupa Valley Starts Season with Defeat at Home

Jurupa Valley unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They were outmatched by the Colton Yellowjackets and fell 61-0. Sadly, the loss continues a streak the team started last season, making it five in a row.

Among those leading the charge was Koa Regalado, who threw for 189 yards and three touchdowns while completing 78.6% of his passes. Julian Gonzalez was in the mix too, providing Colton with one score.

Looking ahead, Jurupa Valley will square off against Fontana at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Colton, they will challenge Eisenhower at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
