Soccer Recap: William Blount Comes Up Short

William Blount saw some tournament action on Saturday. They fell just short of the Goodpasture Christian Cougars by a score of 2-1. William Blount have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Their goal came courtesy of Brady Plemons, which was the first he's scored this season.

William Blount's defeat dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Goodpasture Christian, their victory bumped their record up to 8-0-1.

Looking ahead, William Blount will be taking part in a tournament against Livingston Academy at 10:50 a.m. on Sunday. Livingston Academy's last three matches have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Goodpasture Christian, they will host Ezell-Harding Christian at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
