Soccer Game Preview: Mabank vs. Community

Mabank hasn't had much luck against Community recently, but that could start to change on Saturday. The Panthers will head out to face off against the Braves at 11:45 a.m. Both teams are coming into the match red-hot, with Mabank sitting on three straight wins and Community on 14.

Mabank's defense heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Wednesday. They put the hurt on Wills Point with a sharp 3-0 victory. Considering Mabank have won six contests by more than two goals this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

They hit Wills Point with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Giovani Hernandez, Carson Brady, and Gibson Morgan.

Meanwhile, Community made easy work of Kemp on Wednesday and carried off a 7-0 win. Community are also no stranger to big wins: their blowout was the 11th match they've won by 3+ goals this season.

Mabank's record now sits at 8-5-2. As for Community, their record is now 14-2.

Mabank might still be hurting after the 6-2 loss they got from Community in their previous meeting two weeks ago. Can the Panthers avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
