Northview entered their tilt with Monrovia on Tuesday with eight consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with nine. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Bulldogs.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Northview took every set by at least ten points. The final score came out to 25-15, 25-8, 25-14.

Northview was led to victory by Brinley Deakins and Maggie Wilson. Deakins had 13 digs and two aces, while Wilson had 13 assists and six digs.

They weren't the only good server: Northview was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 13 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in four consecutive games.

Northview's win bumped their record up to 16-5. As for Monrovia, their defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 5-14.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Northview will challenge South Putnam at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Monrovia, they will venture away from home to take on Plainfield at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
