West Florida Baptist Academy put another one in the bag on Monday to keep their perfect season alive. Their pitcher stepped up to hand Santa Rosa Christian a 15-0 shutout. Give the Conquerors' pitching crew some credit: that's the team's third straight shutout.

Riley Scheel and Cali Ellis did most of the damage at the plate: Scheel went a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs, while Ellis went a perfect 1-for-1 with three RBI, two runs, and one triple. The team also got some help courtesy of Ande Johnson, who scored a run while going 2-for-2.

West Florida Baptist Academy's win was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 9-0. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 18.3 runs over those games. As for Santa Rosa Christian, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. West Florida Baptist Academy will host Pensacola Catholic at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Pensacola Catholic has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 12.6 runs per game on average), something West Florida Baptist Academy will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Santa Rosa Christian, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Atmore Christian at 4:30 p.m. on the 14th.
