Soccer Recap: New Palestine Comes Up Short

After flying high against Franklin Central on Thursday, New Palestine came back down to earth. The Dragons took a 5-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lawrence Central Bears on Saturday. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last four times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

New Palestine's defeat dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Lawrence Central, their victory bumped their record up to 5-1.

Coming up, New Palestine will venture away from home to face off against Mt. Vernon at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Lawrence Central, they will welcome Southport at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
