Soccer Game Preview: Hawkins vs. Hawthorne

The Hawkins Hawks are taking a road trip to face off against the Hawthorne Cougars at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.

Hawkins fell victim to Crenshaw and their airtight defense on Friday. They fell just short of the Cougars by a score of 1-0.

Meanwhile, West kept up with Hawthorne until halftime on Friday, but afterwards: not so much. The Cougars were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Warriors.

Hawthorne's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-5-2. As for Hawkins, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-3-1.

Everything went Hawkins' way against Hawthorne when the teams last played back in December of 2024, as Hawkins made off with a 5-1 win. In that match, the Hawks amassed a halftime lead of 3-0, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Monday.
