Leilani Oyola turned in nothing short of a gem on Friday, striking out 15 batters over seven innings while giving up just two earned runs off six hits (and not a single walk). As if that's not impressive enough, the pitching appearance was her third in a row with five or more strikeouts. On the season, she has an ERA of 3.62 over 29 innings pitched.

Coming up, Oyola and Payne Tech will welcome Montclair on Monday. Oyola had to take a defeat the last time the two teams duked it out, losing their contest back in April of 2024 11-1.
