Eaton has gone a perfect 10-0 against Oakwood recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. The Eagles will host the Lumberjacks at 5:00 p.m. Eaton is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.8 runs per game this season.
Eaton is headed into the matchup having just posted their closest win since April 12th on Wednesday. They had just enough and edged out Brookville 3-2.

Meredith Pieratt spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned (and one unearned) run on three hits. She has been consistent: she hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive appearances.
At the plate, the team relied heavily on Ella Statzer, who went 2-for-4 with one home run, two runs, and one triple. That triple marked the first that she has hit this season.
Meanwhile, Oakwood was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took an 11-8 hit to the loss column at the hands of Madison. While the Lumberjacks didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Mohawks 4-0 in the first period.
Kaitlin Patterson made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and got on base in all four of her plate appearances with one home run, four RBI, and one triple. The team also got some help courtesy of Reed Archdeacon, who went 3-for-4 with two runs and one RBI.
Eaton pushed their record up to 8-5 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. The road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.7 runs on average over those games. As for Oakwood, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-13.
Oakwood's hitters will have their work cut out for them on Monday. Eaton has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 7.3 strikeouts per game. It's a different story for Oakwood, though, as they've been averaging only 3.1 strikeouts. Will Eaton keep running through batters, or will the Lumberjacks buck the trend?
Eaton took their victory against Oakwood in their previous meeting last Tuesday by a conclusive 17-2 score. Will the Eagles repeat their success, or do the Lumberjacks have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
