Lakeside had to kick off their season on the road on Saturday, but they showed no ill effects. They came out on top against the Chamblee Bulldogs by a score of 2-0. The game was the first time the Vikings have beaten the Bulldogs on their court since August 12, 2023.

Lakeside easily took the first set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The final score came out to 25-12, 25-20.

Chamblee's loss dropped their record down to 2-2.

Looking ahead, Lakeside will take on North Atlanta at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Chamblee, they will face off against Northview at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
