It may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but Downtown Magnets ultimately got the result they hoped for on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 23-14 margin over the Collins Family Jaguars. Considering the Suns have won four games by more than eight runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Downtown Magnets' victory bumped their record up to 5-3. As for Collins Family, their defeat was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 4-1 and their overall record down to 4-6.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Downtown Magnets will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Animo Bunche at 2:00 p.m. on May 2. As for Collins Family, they will venture away from home to square off against Port of Los Angeles on Thursday. The Polar Bears will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Jaguars surely won't give up without a fight.
