Volleyball Recap: Vail Christian's Winning Streak Snapped at Five Games

Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Vail Christian couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They came up short against the Swink Lions on Thursday, falling 3-0. The shutout was out of character for the Saints seeing as the last time the team failed to score was back in September.

Mary McClarrinon paced Vail Christian's offense, picking up ten kills. McClarrinon got some help from Tenley Brasington and her 23 assists.

The loss snapped Vail Christian's winning streak at five matches and leaves them with a 20-5 record. As for Swink, the victory was the 15th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 22-4.
