Basketball Recap: Massabesic Comes Up Short

Massabesic was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They had to suffer through a 74-30 loss at the hands of the Noble Knights. While losing is never fun, the Mustangs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Maine basketball rankings (they are ranked 113th, while the Knights are ranked second).

Massabesic's loss dropped their record down to 2-11. As for Noble, their victory bumped their record up to 12-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Massabesic will welcome Scarborough at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Noble, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Biddeford at 1:00 p.m. on Monday.
