Volleyball Recap: Bishop's Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Bishop can now relate to. They fell just short of the Centennial Golden Hawks by a score of 3-2 on Tuesday. While the Knights didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Golden Hawks 25-19 in the first set.

Bishop's actually scored more points across those five sets (107-105), but sadly they still had to settle for second. The final score came out to 19-25, 25-23, 21-25, 25-22, 15-12.

Bishop's defeat ended a three-match streak of wins at home and dropped them to 25-9. As for Centennial, they are on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 15 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 31-11 record this season.

As of now, neither Bishop's nor Centennial have any future games scheduled.
