Soccer Game Preview: Chowchilla vs. Riverdale

The Chowchilla Tribe will square off against the Riverdale Cowboys at 5:45 p.m. on Tuesday.

Chowchilla is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to ten goals on Tuesday, they were much more limited against Parlier on Friday. They fell just short of the Panthers by a score of 1-0.

Meanwhile, Riverdale hasn't lost a match since December 12, 2025, a trend which continued in their latest game on Wednesday. They and Caruthers finished up on equal footing with a 4-4 draw. Riverdale's defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Chowchilla's loss dropped their record down to 4-7-1. Riverdale's draw gives them a new season record of 8-3-6.

Chowchilla came up short against Riverdale when the teams last played back in January of 2025, falling 3-1. Can the Tribe avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
