Volleyball Recap: Dawson Gets the Win

Dawson's tournament run continued when they took on Eagle Mountain on Friday. The Eagles came out on top against the Knights by a score of 2-0. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Eagles.

Dawson not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Eagle Mountain between 15 and 17 points across their sets. The final score came out to 25-17, 27-15.

Avery Koonsen paced Dawson's offense, picking up 17 kills. Koonsen got some help from Alexa Koonsen and her 19 assists.

Dawson's win bumped their record up to 19-3. As for Eagle Mountain, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 14-11.

Dawson didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Tompkins on the 30th. As for Eagle Mountain, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 2-1 win against Lake Creek on the 30th.
