Baseball Recap: Leakey Comes Up Short

Leakey was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 11th straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 22-5 to the La Pryor Bulldogs.

Aden Rhiver made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-3 with one triple, two RBI, and one run. That triple marked the first that he hit this season.

Leakey's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for La Pryor, with the victory, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 2-5.

Coming up, Leakey will square off against Menard at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday. Leakey is facing Menard at the right time seeing as Menard is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for La Pryor, they will face off against Charlotte at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The contest will give La Pryor their first taste of in-conferenceaction this season.
