Foran strolled into their game on Tuesday with a perfect record and they left with the same. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Lauralton Hall Crusaders a 17-0 shutout. Considering the Lions have won ten games by more than six runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Abigail Corris made a splash while hitting and pitching. She kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out 11 over five innings pitched. She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't tossed less than eight strikeouts in 16 consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 3-for-4 with three RBI and one triple. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in May of 2024.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Julia O'Connell, who went 2-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. That home run was her first of the season. Nyla Jaser was another key player, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two stolen bases, one run, and one RBI.

Foran hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. The team has now struck out at least five batters in six consecutive matchups.

Foran's win was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 17-0. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.0 run on average over those games. As for Lauralton Hall, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-12.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Foran will face off against East Haven at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Lauralton Hall, they will venture away from home to square off against Hand at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
