Softball Recap: Warren Warriors vs. Chester Yellowjackets

Warren is still undefeated this season after their game against Chester on Saturday, but Chester came as close as anyone has to beating them. The Warriors came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 3-2 W against the Yellowjackets. While the Warriors didn't have the best season last year (they finished 2-22-1), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Kinley Fife made a big impact no matter where she played. She struck out 15 batters over five innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off one hit (and only one walk). She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts any time she's pitched this season.
