Soccer Game Preview: Sultan vs. Renton

The Sultan Turks will take on the Renton Red Hawks at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.

Sultan is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to nine goals last Wednesday, they were much more limited against Seattle Christian on Monday. They fell just short of the Warriors by a score of 1-0.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Renton). They blew past Evergreen 5-2 on Tuesday. The win was all the more spectacular given Renton's disadvantage in MaxPreps' Washington soccer rankings (they are ranked 225th, while Evergreen are ranked 85th).

Sultan now has a losing record of 4-5. As for Renton, their victory bumped their record up to 3-7-1.
