Basketball Recap: Lighthouse Christian Extends Winning Streak to Four

Lighthouse Christian came tearing into Thursday's matchup with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 23 points), and they left with even more momentum. They came within six points of losing the streak, but they secured a 61-55 W against the Seneca Indians. Given the Chargers' advantage in MaxPreps' Missouri basketball rankings (they are ranked 100th, while the Indians are ranked 241st), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Leading Lighthouse Christian to victory were Elijah Rahn and Judah Louderback. Rahn went 10-for-13 en route to 20 points, while Louderback shot 40% from the field to rack up 20 points and five boards. What's more, Rahn also posted a 77% shooting accuracy, which is the highest he's achieved since back in December of 2024. Logan Nigh was another key player, putting up eight points.

Lighthouse Christian pushed their record up to 25-9 with the victory, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Seneca, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-12.
