Soccer Game Preview: Benjamin Franklin vs. Apache Junction

The Benjamin Franklin Chargers will challenge the Apache Junction Prospectors at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. The timing is sure in Benjamin Franklin's favor as the squad sits on three straight wins at home while Apache Junction has been banged up by four consecutive losses on the road.

Last Thursday, it was close, but Benjamin Franklin sidestepped San Tan Foothills for a 2-1 victory.

Ezra Larson was the driving force of Benjamin Franklin's attack as he scored both of Benjamin Franklin's goals, bringing his season total up to seven goals.

Meanwhile, after soaring to four goals the game before, Apache Junction was a bit more limited in their match on Friday. They came up short against ALA - Ironwood, falling 7-0.

Benjamin Franklin has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a massive bump to their 6-5-1 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 26 goals over those seven games. As for Apache Junction, their loss dropped their record down to 4-6.
