The Sullivan Redskins were able to grind out a solid  win over the North Mac Panthers on Saturday, taking the game  10-7. With that  victory, the Redskins brought their scoring average up to 7  runs per game.
 J'Nai Webb and  Aeralyn Thrasher made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound,  Webb   pitched two innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   one  hit. Meanwhile,  Thrasher   struck out six batters over  five innings while giving up  three earned  (and three unearned) runs off   nine  hits (and not a single walk). At the plate,  Webb  went 2-for-3 with two  RBI, while  Thrasher  scored a  run while going 2-for-3. Those  hits were  Webb's first of the season.
 In other batting news,  Harmony Ray was  incredible,  going 3-for-4 with one  triple, two  RBI,  and one  run. That  triple was  her first of the season. Another player making a difference was  Karson Robinson, who  scored two  runs while going 3-for-4.
 Sullivan  kept the outfield on their toes and  finished the game with 12  hits. That's the most  hits they've managed all season.
The  win  got Sullivan back to even at 2-2. As for North Mac,  they are  on  a  four-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 0-4.
 Both  teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Sullivan will square off against Arthur-Okaw Christian at 4:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. As for North Mac, they will take on Nokomis at 4:30  p.m.  on Monday. Nokomis has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 8.25  runs per game on average), something North Mac will no doubt try to take advantage of.
