Scarborough has gone 8-2 against Cheverus recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Red Storm will host the Stags at 4:30 p.m. Scarborough will come into the matchup with an undefeated record on the line.

Scarborough's pitching crew heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed last Monday. They skirted past Falmouth 1-0.

Falmouth's batters probably weren't too happy with Erik Swenson, who pitched a no hitter and racked up nine Ks (he gave up a single walk).

At the plate, Scarborough's win was truly a team effort as six different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Finn Coburn, who went 2-for-3 with one run. Cam Wellman also deserves some recognition as he hit his first triple of the season.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Cheverus, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Thursday. They put the hurt on Westbrook with a sharp 11-0 victory on Monday. The Stags' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

Cheverus moved to 2-4 with that win, which also ended their three-game losing streak. As for Scarborough, they pushed their record up to 4-0 with the victory, which was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season.

Scarborough took their win against Cheverus when the teams last played back in May of 2024 by a conclusive 10-0 score. Will the Red Storm repeat their success, or do the Stags have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
