Football Recap: Rock Creek Academy Takes a Loss

Rock Creek Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss dating back to last season. They were six points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 32-26 heartbreaker at the hands of the Morristown Yellow Jackets. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Yellow Jackets this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 45-28 last Saturday.

Morristown was led to victory by Arik Trattner and Ayden Jonas. Trattner gained 73 total yards and two touchdowns, while Jonas threw for 149 yards and a pair of TDs on only 12 passes.

Rock Creek Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Morristown, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Rock Creek Academy will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Dugger Union at 6:00 p.m. on the 27th. As for Morristown, they will welcome Waldron at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Yellow Jackets will need to watch out since the Mohawks have now posted at least 31 points every time they've taken the field this season.
