It's playoff time, and Mt. Carmel had no trouble coming through when it counted. They put the hurt on the Maranatha Christian Eagles with a sharp 3-0 win on Tuesday. Winning may never get old, but the Sundevils sure are getting used to it with their fifth in a row.

Mt. Carmel walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the second set). The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-15, 25-21.

When it comes to explaining why Maranatha Christian lost, don't look at Hope Fitzherbert. Despite the final result, she had 17 digs and two assists.

Mt. Carmel's win bumped their record up to 21-13. As for Maranatha Christian, their defeat was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 9-19.

Looking ahead, Mt. Carmel will face off against Classical Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Maranatha Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
