Basketball Recap: The Awty International Takes a Loss

The Awty International was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were dealt a 78-26 loss at the hands of the Episcopal Knights. While losing is never fun, the Rams can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 567th, while the Knights are ranked 155th).

The Awty International's defeat dropped their record down to 12-5. As for Episcopal, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 18-7.

The Awty International has already played their next match (against Lake Houston HomeSchool), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Episcopal will head out to challenge St. John's at 7:00 p.m. on January 24th. Episcopal knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past four contests -- so hopefully St. John's likes a good challenge.
