Football Recap: Jayden Velazquez and Frederic Sanrelus Pace Nova Defense

Nova lost against NSU University back in August of 2017, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Titans fell 17-6 to the Sharks.

Even if they lost, Nova's defense still kept up the pressure with eight sacks. The heavy lifting was done by Jayden Velazquez and Frederic Sanrelus, who racked up four sacks between them. Velazquez is also crushing it when it comes to total tackles: he's made at least five every time he's taken the field this season.

Nova now has a losing record of 1-2. As for NSU University, the win got them back to even at 2-2.

Nova wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 21-14 defeat against South Plantation on the 12th. As for NSU University, they have also already played their next match, a 45-28 loss against Saint Andrew's on the 11th.
