The regular season was a success, but the real challenge begins now, in the postseason. This Friday Chester (6-4) takes on Biggs (8-2) in the first playoff game of the year. Both teams seek to continue their momentum from their previous games.

Last week, Chester took on Maxwell. Chester's defense put the team in a good position heading into the break, holding Maxwell to a measly six points. That put Chester at a 8 - 6 advantage. The offense wasn't without success either, scoring 30 points in the second half. The game ended up being a comfortable 38 - 22 victory for Chester.

As for Biggs, it can thank its lucky stars for its win over Etna two weeks ago. The final score was a hard-fought 35 - 34. With four TDs, senior running back Lukini Lualemana was a significant factor in the success. Lualemana has been a consistent playmaker for Biggs as this was the 10th good game in a row from him.

Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, Biggs and Chester will really light up the scoreboard.
