Hudson is a perfect 3-0 against Don Bosco since April of 2024 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Pirates will square off against the Dons at 5:30 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Hudson has 11 straight victories, Don Bosco has six straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the pitch.

Hudson's defense heads into the match hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. They blew past Regina 4-0. The result was nothing new for Hudson, who have now won eight contests by four goals or more so far this season.

Meanwhile, Don Bosco fell victim to Denver and their airtight defense on Monday. They lost 9-0 to the Cyclones. While losing is never fun, Don Bosco can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Iowa soccer rankings (they are ranked 136th, while Denver are ranked second).

Hudson's win was their seventh straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 13-2. Those road victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up zero goals over those seven games. As for Don Bosco, their loss dropped their record down to 0-6.

Everything went Hudson's way against Don Bosco when the teams last played on April 1st, as Hudson made off with a 10-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Pirates since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
