Volleyball Recap: Sargent County's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

Sargent County's game on Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They came out on top against the Oakes Tornadoes by a score of 3-1. The victory was some much needed relief for the Bulldogs as it spelled an end to their four-match losing streak.

Sargent County's win bumped their record up to 6-8. As for Oakes, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-7.

Sargent County will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Tri-State co-op [Rosholt/Fairmount/Campbell-Tintah] at 7:00 p.m. on the 21st. As for Oakes, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Wyndmere/Lidgerwood at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
