Metrolina Christian Academy came tearing into Tuesday's contest with five straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. Everything went their way against the Sun Valley Spartans as they made off with a 3-0 win. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 two weeks ago.

While Metrolina Christian Academy won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 26-24, 25-19.

Matthew Wilson paced Metrolina Christian Academy's offense, picking up 15 kills. Wilson got some help from Jackson Vinson and his 24 assists. Daniel Titherington controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.

Metrolina Christian Academy pushed their record up to 12-4 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. As for Sun Valley, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-10.
