Basketball Game Preview: Tuscarawas Central Catholic Saints vs. David Anderson Blue Devils

The Tuscarawas Central Catholic Saints and the David Anderson Blue Devils will round out the year against one another at at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday. Tuscarawas Central Catholic is coming into the contest on a four-game losing streak.

Last Friday, Tuscarawas Central Catholic didn't have quite enough to beat Conotton Valley and fell 40-37.

Despite the loss, Tuscarawas Central Catholic saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Ethan Rothrock dropped a double-double on ten points and 11 rebounds.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask David Anderson). They took down East Palestine 67-52 on Friday. That's two games straight that the Blue Devils have won by exactly 15 points.

David Anderson has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a massive bump to their 3-4 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.0 points per game. As for Tuscarawas Central Catholic, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-5.
