It was a good run, but Tapestry Charter unfortunately witnessed the end of their six-game winning streak dating back to last season on Friday. They were beaten by the Cross Keys Phoenix 56-23. The matchup marked the Titans' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Cross Keys' win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Trenton Boone, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and 11 boards. Those 11 rebounds gave Boone a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Dre Tucker, who posted 13 points and five steals.

Tapestry Charter's loss dropped their record down to 4-1. As for Cross Keys, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 12-7.
