Richwood is 10-0 against Bastrop since February of 2020 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Richwood Rams will welcome the Bastrop Rams at 6:00 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Richwood is headed into the matchup after thoroughly thrashing Sterlington: they outscored them in every quarter. Everything went Richwood's way against Sterlington on Tuesday as Richwood made off with a 97-76 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Rams.

Meanwhile, Bastrop had already won six in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 31.2 points) and they went ahead and made it seven on Friday. They put the hurt on the Panthers with a sharp 94-73 victory. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 44-16.

Bastrop's win came from a few key players Richwood will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Samuel Davis, who dropped a double-double on 23 points and 16 boards. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in rebounds. Antron Mason II was another key player, going 6 for 14 on his way to 24 points in addition to eight assists and five boards.

Bastrop pushed their record up to 14-4 with the win, which was their eighth straight at home. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 79.0 points per game. As for Richwood, their victory ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 14-9.

Richwood strolled past Bastrop in their previous matchup back in December of 2024 by a score of 72-53. Does Richwood have another victory up their sleeve, or will Bastrop turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
