Basketball Recap: Dishchii'bikoh Now 5-1 over Last Six Games

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Fort Thomas, Dishchii'bikoh was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. They came out on top against the Fredonia Lynx by a score of 49-41.

When it comes to explaining why Fredonia lost, don't look at Nevaeh Benson. Despite the final result, she went 5 of 10 en route to 16 points and six steals. Those 16 points gave Benson a new career-high. Neveya Estrada was another key player, going 5 for 12 on her way to 8 points and four steals.

Dishchii'bikoh is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a nice bump to their 8-8 record this season. As for Fredonia, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-6.
