Baseball Game Preview: Wynnewood Savages vs. Lexington Bulldogs

The Wynnewood Savages are taking a road trip to face off against the Lexington Bulldogs at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Wynnewood has given up an average of 7 runs per game this season, so hopefully the team got some pitching drills in this week.

Wynnewood fell victim to Dickson and their airtight pitching crew last Thursday. They lost 12-0 to the Comets.

Meanwhile, Lexington unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Tuesday. They fell just short of Comanche by a score of 8-6.

Kaiden McRavin was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-4. That's the most hits he has posted since back in April of 2024. Ryan Johnson also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.

Wynnewood's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Lexington, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-3.

Wynnewood suffered a grim 10-2 defeat to Lexington in their previous matchup back in March of 2024. Can Wynnewood avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
