Baseball Recap: Parkers Prairie Picks Up Fourth Straight Win on the Road

Parkers Prairie won the last time they faced Frazee and things went their way on Thursday too. The Panthers were the clear victors by a 13-1 margin over the Hornets. The result was nothing new for the Panthers, who have now won eight games by six runs or more so far this season.

Parkers Prairie pushed their record up to 11-3 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road. The road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.5 runs over those games. As for Frazee, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-5-1.

Coming up, Parkers Prairie will welcome New York Mills at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Panthers 3.5, the Eagles 3.3) so any runs scored will be well earned. As for Frazee, they will head out to square off against Perham at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The Hornets will need to watch out since the Yellowjackets have now posted at least ten runs in their last eight matchups.
