Softball Recap: Lake Minneola Hawks vs. Foundation Academy Lions
Lake Minneola suffered their closest loss since March 6th on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Foundation Academy Lions by a score of 5-3. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Hawks of the 6-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in March of 2024.
Kaydence Schutte spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered four earned (and one unearned) runs on six hits.
