After a string of six wins, Leesville's good fortune finally ran out on Monday. They came up short against the DeQuincy Tigers, falling 3-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Wampus Cats have suffered against the Tigers since September 19, 2019.

Leesville's loss dropped their record down to 7-3. As for DeQuincy, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Leesville will square off against Washington-Marion at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for DeQuincy, they will challenge Church Point at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
