Basketball Game Preview: El Capitan Vaqueros vs. Helix Highlanders

El Capitan hasn't had much luck against Helix recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The El Capitan Vaqueros will be playing in front of their home fans against the Helix Highlanders at 7:00 p.m.

El Capitan is headed into Friday's match looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their fourth straight game on Friday. They fell 65-54 to Mount Miguel.

Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the best came from Jason Wilson, who went 5 of 12 en route to 17 points. Kale Curo was another key player, putting up ten points and four steals.

Meanwhile, Helix's game on Tuesday was all tied up 26-26 at the half, but luckily for them it didn't stay that way. They came out on top against Mount Miguel by a score of 58-47.

El Capitan's defeat dropped their record down to 6-17. As for Helix, their win bumped their record up to 7-16.
