Rifle is a perfect 4-0 against Delta since September of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Bears are taking a road trip to face off against the Panthers at 6:00 p.m. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with three consecutive losses apiece.

On Tuesday, Rifle came up short against Glenwood Springs and fell 4-2.

Meanwhile, Delta didn't have quite enough to beat Telluride on Tuesday and fell 2-1. That's two games in a row now that Delta have lost by just one goal.

Their goal came courtesy of Kyler Loucks, which was the first he's scored this season.

Rifle's defeat dropped their record down to 4-8-1. As for Delta, their loss dropped their record down to 5-5-2.

Rifle took their victory against Delta in their previous matchup back in October of 2024 by a conclusive 5-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Bears since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
