Basketball Game Preview: Bourne Canalmen vs. Cathedral Panthers

The Bourne Canalmen will venture away from home to challenge the Cathedral Panthers at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Both teams are coming into the game red-hot, with Bourne sitting on ten straight wins and Cathedral on three.

On Saturday, Bourne didn't have too much trouble with Cohasset as they won 48-34.

Meanwhile, it's playoff time, and Cathedral had no trouble coming through when it counted. They blew past Uxbridge 67-43 on Tuesday. The Panthers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 13 contests by 20 points or more this season.

Bourne pushed their record up to 23-2 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.0 points over those games. As for Cathedral, their win bumped their record up to 16-5.
