North Caroline sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with an 8-6 win over Cambridge-South Dorchester.
Dover made their fans wait, but they earned their first win of the season to make their record 1-4. As for North Caroline, their victory bumped their record up to 2-0.
Dover took their win against North Caroline when the teams last played back in April of 2019 by a conclusive 13-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for Dover since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
