Recap: Firestone Falcons vs. Archbishop Hoban Knights

This season hasn't been kind to the Firestone Falcons, who are still winless after their fifth contest. They ended up on the wrong side of a rough 60-36 walloping at the hands of Archbishop Hoban on Saturday. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Firestone has scored all season.

Archbishop Hoban had a senior duo take command as Jonas Nichols dropped a double-double on 17 points and 12 rebounds and Joseph Hardman scored 15 points along with five rebounds. Joshua Greer was another key contributor, scoring nine points.

Firestone's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Archbishop Hoban, the victory was the 13th in a row (dating back to last season) for them, bringing their record for this year to 1-0.

Firestone will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against East at 7:00 p.m. As for Archbishop Hoban, they will head out on the road to face off against John F. Kennedy Catholic at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in John F. Kennedy Catholic's favor is that they have posted big point totals every time they've taken the court this season.
