Belvidere North won the last time they faced Hononegah and things went their way on Thursday too. The Blue Thunder blew past the Indians 6-2. The result was nothing new for Belvidere North, who have now won 12 matches by three goals or more so far this season.

Their offense was hitting Hononegah from everywhere, as six different players booted in a goal.

Belvidere North pushed their record up to 14-2-2 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 30 goals over those five contests. As for Hononegah, their loss ended a five-game streak of away wins and brought them to 9-6.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Belvidere North will challenge Harlem at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Hononegah, they will square off against Huntley at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Huntley will roll in looking for their ninth straight win, something Hononegah surely won't give up without a fight.
