            Softball Recap: Pinellas Park Patriots vs. Countryside Cougars        
        
		
        
        
            Pinellas Park barely beat Countryside the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Patriots put the hurt on the Cougars with a sharp  15-0 win on Tuesday. That 15 run margin sets a new team best for the Patriots this season.
 Ayanah Wilson was a major factor no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound,   not allowing a single  earned run and  allowed only two  hits over four innings pitched. Wilson was also solid in the batter's box,  scoring two  runs and  stealing a base while going 1-for-2.
 In other batting news,  Danielle Overman was  incredible,  scoring three  runs while going 2-for-3.  Bella Birge was another key player,  scoring three  runs while going 3-for-4.

 Pinellas Park  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .633. The last time their  OBP was this high was  back in April of 2024.
The  victory  got Pinellas Park back to even at 6-6. As for Countryside, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-10.
 Both  teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Pinellas Park will head out to  take on Seminole  at 7:00  p.m.  on Wednesday. As for Countryside, they will venture away from home to  challenge Dunedin  at 7:00  p.m.  on Thursday. The Falcons' pitching crew has only allowed 3.6  runs per game  this season, so the Cougars' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
